History
of Paella

It is a traditional Spanish dish that is currently
available in many variations. The recipe is
mainly based on a special rice called Bomba
with saffron, which is fried and cooked in a
metal pan with two handles called paeller.
The most important thing in making a paella is
the combination of ingredients. Above all, it is
not an easy task to prepare a perfect,
traditional paella.

Depending on the ingredients used, there are
e.g.: Paella Marinara (the most popular in
Spain), Paella Valenciana (the first traditional
recipe most commonly found in Valencia),
Paella with chicken, Paella with chorizo or
Paella with vegetables.

Paella Chicken

For those who do not belong to seafood lovers, you can offer paella with chicken. As in any other paella, the main ingredient is properly selected rice. Chicken meat is added to the accompaniment of saffron, vegetables and poultry broth. The aroma of the dish is given by saffron and proper roasting of the rice. It is a filling dish that, together with a glass of white wine, will be a perfect idea for lunch or an early dinner.

Paella in a unique Mediterranean climate. The most popular variant of this Iberian dish. It is based on a combination of special rice with saffron, a specially prepared fish soup broth, with the addition of sea food such as squid, shrimp, octopus baby, mulles and sepia. The combination of so many ingredients gives the dish a unique flavor and aroma that is my main dish. Always carefully selected and fresh ingredients and my recipe for preparing this dish make it an amazing culinary taste experience for people who taste this dish.

Paella Chorizo

An interesting combination of different flavor qualities is paella with chorizo sausage. With its strong and deep flavor, its more or less pronounced spiciness and the rich aroma of the herbs, it gives the paella a special flavor. Prepared on chicken broth, like other paella in duet with saffron, which is one of the main ingredients of this Spanish dish, it creates a unique taste combination.

Paella Vegetarian

Paella with vegetables is an atlernative for people who do without meat and fish in their diet. Paella, prepared on a specially prepared vegetable broth, combined with saffron and various colored vegetables such as peppers, zucchini, onions or tomatoes, forms a wonderful palette of colors saturated with taste and aroma.

of Ceviche

It has been assumed that between the 2nd
2nd and 5th centuries, on the Peruvian coast, the
Mochica culture prepared ceviche based on
fresh fish, which was cooked with the juice of
a local fruit called tumbo. This dish was
cooked for the first time on the high seas. It
was halfway through the work, the fishermen
cut up the fish and cooked it in their boats
using only salt water.

When the Spaniards invaded the Andean
lands, without eating raw fish, they changed
the recipe to ceviche. They added lemon juice
to create a milky-colored marinade called
tiger's milk.

Ceviche Clásico

Ceviche is the art of the perfect balance between flavors. It is a combination of Inca, Spanish and Japanese cultures. Ceviche Classico is based on diced white fish with the addition of lime juice, onion or sweet potato. This dish is the godfather of the Ceviche family.

Ceviche Nikkei

The addition of Japanese cooking secrets to Peruvian cuisine created a dish called Ceviche Nikkei, unique in taste and composition. The main ingredient here is tuna, which is cut through a special method of Japanese culture. The dish served incl. with avocado, cucumber, onion or mango.

What is expected?
Cooking workshops “A journey through the tastes of world cuisine”

Discover the culture of Spain or Peru in a unique way ... from the kitchen. Cooking with Chef Oscar.
It is an interesting way to get to know the culture and traditions of a country from the kitchen. No culinary experience is required to participate in these activities. The aim is to show that cooking does not have to be difficult and boring.

Especially for you we offer two types of lessons:
1) A Spanish journey into culture: Paella Marinara & Sangria

2) National Cultural Heritage of Peru: Ceviche Clásico, Ceviche Nikkei & Pisco

Classes will take place in my kitchen, where I cordially invite you, or I will be a guest in your house (kitchen). This class is cooking together one of the traditional dishes, learning the secrets of cooking and having fun at the same time.

You can join a group where you can meet new people like you who want to taste the true flavor of Spain or Peru that is enchanted in my dishes. If you have a group of friends, family or work colleagues, I can prepare a closed cooking workshop especially for you. It’s a great way to relieve the stress of everyday life, a cool form of holiday activities or an ideal way to integrate.

The workshop lasts from 2-2,5 hours. During our meeting, you’ll step into the role of sub-chief for a while and help me prepare this unique dish.
